AJH Leather Designs – Refunds & Returns Policy

Clients may cancel their order; however, the initial $1,000 bespoke reservation fee is non-refundable, as it secures design time, consultation, and project allocation. After payment, materials and hardware are ordered, and production planning begins.

Legal clarification: All deposits, reservation fees, and bespoke payments are non-refundable and non-transferable once design work, material sourcing, or production planning has commenced.

At AJH Leather Designs, we take pride in crafting high-quality leather goods and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If you are not happy with your order, please review our refunds and returns policy below.

Returns

  • We accept returns within 14 days of delivery.
  • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in their original packaging.
  • Custom or personalized items cannot be returned, unless they arrive damaged or defective.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the item was defective or incorrect.

Refunds

  • Once your return is received and inspected, we will process your refund within 5-7 business days.
  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method.
  • Shipping costs are non-refundable, except in cases of defective or incorrect items.

Exchanges

  • We offer exchanges for items of equal value within 14 days of delivery.
  • If you need a different size or color, please contact us before sending the item back.

Damaged or Defective Items

  • If your item arrives damaged or defective, please email us at ajhleather@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with photos of the issue.
  • We will replace or refund defective items at no additional cost to you.

How to Initiate a Return or Exchange

  1. Email us at ajhleather@gmail.com with your order number and reason for return/exchange.
  2. We will provide return instructions and a return address.
  3. Once we receive and inspect your item, we will process your refund or exchange.

This is due to the nature of bespoke orders. All materials are carefully inspected before an item is made. Any cancellation will result in a loss of materials and time. I thank you for your support and understanding. 


Where items have been made or personalized (made-to-order, custom/bespoke, or full couture) for you, they are non-refundable unless defective. If you need to return an item, send us an email at our contact email address on this website and we will provide you with the address to return your items. Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
When you are returning items, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance.You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, other than for a faulty item, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
